Pontiac is a census-designated place in southern Ozark County, Missouri, United States. [3] It lies six miles south of Isabella and 18.5 miles southwest of Gainesville, [4] on the northeast shore of Bull Shoals Lake. A post office called Pontiac has been in operation since 1887. [5]
The facility includes a full laboratory level with various wind tunnels, a 1.8-mile (2.9 km) evaluation road, noise, vibration, and harshness testing facility, electromagnetic compatibility center, climatic wind tunnel (able to create rain, snow, and extreme temperatures), and pilot production plant.
