Half Alive (stylized as half•alive or h•a) [1] is an American rock band from Long Beach, California. [2] The band was formed in 2016 and consists of lead singer Josh Taylor, drummer Brett Kramer and bassist J. Tyler Johnson. The trio are best known for their single "Still Feel" and its choreographed music video.

Now, Not Yet is the debut studio album by American band Half Alive, released through RCA Records on August 9, 2019. [1] The songwriting process for the record began in 2015, before Half Alive was formed, during a challenge in which lead singer Josh Taylor would try to write 50 songs along with drummer Brett Kramer.
The music video is directed by Martha Colburn. [2] At first I was skeptical because you have to adopt different roles simultaneously. You have to learn to self-edit and fortunately I was able to be very critical. An example would be a song called 'Lie Lie Lie', which is a funny a song but I had some very serious lyrics to it.
Half Alive made their late night television debut on March 14, 2019 with a choreographed performance of "Still Feel" with JA Collective on Jimmy Kimmel Live! It was praised by publications including Billboard and Rolling Stone, the former considering it "show-stopping" and the latter calling it "cleverly choreographed."
The lyrics to the track were written by vocalist Sonny Sandoval and were inspired by a moment when he recognized his own features in those of his young daughter for the first time.
