This is a list of arenas that currently serve as the home venue for NCAA Division I college basketball teams. Conference affiliations reflect those in the 2024–25 season; all affiliation changes officially took effect on July 1, 2024. The arenas serve as home venues for both the men's and women's teams except where noted.

[2] Alaska is the only state without a Division I basketball program, but it does have two Division II programs: the Alaska–Anchorage Seawolves and the Alaska Nanooks (the latter representing the University of Alaska's original Fairbanks campus).
Between 1939 and 1951, the National Semifinals were hosted at the Regional sites and the National Championship game was hosted at a separate site. For those years, this list only includes the host of the National Championship game. In 1952, the Final Four evolved to the current format of four Regional winners meeting at a separate site.

Conferences in the Football Bowl Subdivision must meet a more stringent set of NCAA requirements than other conferences. Among these additional NCAA regulations, institutions in the Football Bowl Subdivision must be "multisport conferences" and participate in conference play in at least six men's and eight women's sports, including football, men's and women's basketball, and at least two other ...
Separate from the above, at least seven active Division 1 members that sponsor both men's and women's basketball. Sponsorship of at least 12 NCAA Division I sports. Minimum of six men's sports, with the following additional restrictions: Men's basketball is a mandatory sport, and at least seven members must sponsor that sport.
