The parish contains the village of Denton and the surrounding countryside. The most important building in the parish is Denton Hall, which is listed, together with associated structures. The other listed buildings include houses, farmhouses and farm buildings, two well-heads, a church, a bridge, a former school and a telephone kiosk.
