Mohona Television (Bengali: মোহনা টেলিভিশন; lit. ' channel television '), [1] also known as Mohona TV, stylized as mohona tv, is a Bangladeshi Bengali-language privately owned satellite and cable television channel.
It is headquartered in the BSEC Building in Kawran Bazar, Dhaka. RTV began broadcasting on 26 December 2005 as a sister channel of NTV, and primarily airs entertainment and news programming. [4] It is one of Bangladesh's most popular television channels, according to TRP reports. [5]
Around 46 privately owned television channels were permitted by the Government of Bangladesh as of 2023, [1] of which thirty-six are currently on air. Six television channels, namely STV-US, CSB News, Channel 1, Diganta Television, Islamic TV, and Channel 16, have been taken off air.
