I need to create block diagrams (which will simply consist of rectangulars connected to each other with arrows, summing and multiplication circles). Microsoft Office 2013 is installed in my school lab, but Microsoft Visio is not included in it (the lab manager said that they had to pay more for Visio and it is not used much in our department).
That above is a nice pic. From the P4 days, so a bit old, but simple and clear. I have included a more modern one too but this one helps understand the basic structure a bit more since there's less on it, and it's good to have a few pics, and you rightly wanted a few.
A True PDF can be converted to an editable Visio (VSD) file - I have done it many times. Convert PDF to an SVG file (there are many free converters available online - but you can also use Adobe Illustrator to convert it)
I stumbled on this question (quite old) just now while doing a quick search for a flowchart software. When no one gave a good solution I tried the Ubuntu Software Center; the only one I could find is the "Calligra Flow" which is part of the Calligra Office Suite (which I believe is a new office suite or at least i recently heard about!).

I have studied the efficiency (typical), and usually a 512 byte block size results in %0.2 to %1 of the drive being wasted. The filesystem overhead increases dramatically when you go below 512 bytes so much so you probably lose more than the <1% you would have lost with the 512 byte block size.
Move or rotate text On a shape On the Home tab, in the Tools group, click the Text Block tool . Click the shape to select its text block. I am Visio 2013 user. How can I add more auto-connection points on shapes in Visio. For example, a circle shape originally has 8 auto-connection points, but I need 8 points more totally 16 connection
Or some of my personal Bash magic that will search all computers in the 192.168.1.* block and see which ones are running working HTTP servers (this command will take ~8 minutes and 30 seconds to run completely, you can reduce this time at the risk of missing a server by reducing the --connect-timeout value):
