The Philippine Badminton Association (PBAD) is the national governing body for badminton in the Philippines. The country joined International Badminton Federation in 1950 but it was not until 1952 the country organized its association.
It will have 52,000 square metres (560,000 sq ft) of retail space spread over five floors and will also house a 3,500-square-metre (38,000 sq ft) sports complex consisting of a basketball court, volleyball court, badminton courts and fitness gym. [3]
It also host a 3,000 capacity gymnasium, outdoor courts, bowling alley, a second sports gym. Dormitories are also present within the complex which has a total capacity of 698 beds. A restaurant and a lagoon is also hosted. The sports complex covers an area of around 3.5 ha (8.6 acres). [1]
