So recently I've been trying to login into Dropbox on my laptop because onedrive is being a pain and won't work but everytime I put my password when logging in to get into my account it always gets stuck loading and I've let my laptop sleep for a day and it's still loading. If installed and not signed in, it will prompt you to sign in each time you sign in to the computer. Check your installed applications, including those from the Microsoft Store, and you'll likely see it. If you don't want it, uninstall it. No I definitly not have installed the Dropbox application.

Can't login. 07-28-2021 03:24 PM. I know my user NAMES and PASSWORDS. I CAN login in on any computer, except the ONE that I need my Dropbox working. I have tried with EDGE, CHROME and FIREFOX (Windows 10). I tried PRIVATE mode on THREE browsers. I enter my email and password. I choose sign in.

If you still get the "Connecting" message, I would suggest to look for an antivirus, firewall, security program, proxy or VPN setting that could be blocking the desktop app from connecting properly. I hope this info helps and please let me know what you find. Walter. Community Moderator @ Dropbox.
OS updated to android 13. App started, prompts to login. After entering credentials, appears system popup "Allow Dropbox to send you notifications?", screen starts blinking and becomes unresponsive -- can not tap on allow/don't. After switch to home screen (or other app) and back -- screen remains black. Phone is working, app doesn't.
11-15-2023 11:33 AM. It appears if you choose to share a file with the file open, for whatever reason, dropbox will prompt a view to create a login/ to login. It's quite simple to see the most recent login history with location and time of login. However, if anyone has figured out how to see years of login history, please, please let me know.
