William Paget, 1st Baron Paget of Beaudesert KG PC (1506 – 9 June 1563), was an English statesman and accountant who held prominent positions in the service of Henry VIII, Edward VI and Mary I. He was the patriarch of the Paget family, whose descendants were created Earl of Uxbridge (1714) and Marquess of Anglesey (1815).
William Paget, 4th Baron Paget of Beaudesert (1572 – 29 August 1629) was an English peer and colonist born in Beaudesert House, Staffordshire, England to Thomas Paget, 3rd Baron Paget and Nazareth Newton. His grandfather was William Paget, 1st Baron Paget (1506-1563).
He was born at Beaudesert House, Staffordshire, England on 13 September 1609. He was the son of William Paget, 4th Baron Paget and his wife, Lettice Knollys.Among his siblings were Hon. Margaret Paget (wife of Sir William Hicks, 1st Baronet), Hon. Anne Paget (wife of Sir Simon Harcourt and William Waller), and Hon. Catherine Paget (wife of Sir Anthony Irby).
