English - U.S.A. Apr 6, 2009. #1. Ciao a tutti! I'm translating several types of certificates (marriage, birth, death, etc.) and I need to know how to say " Bureau of Vital Statistics". From reading other WR information, I've pieced together, " Ufficio dei statistiche demografiche." Or, would it be better said, " Ufficio dell'anagrafica"?
We have in Brazil the IBGE (Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística). As far as I know, that is only official Statistics Bureau we have... I have to translate a American birth certificate and the location that it was filed I think was "Bureau of Vital Statistics". I rendered as "Agência de Estatisticas Vitais".
