The Samsung Galaxy A02 is equipped with a 6.5 in PLS TFT capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1600 (~270 ppi). The phone itself measures 164 mm × 75.9 mm × 9.1 mm (6.46 in × 2.99 in × 0.36 in) and weighs 206 grams (7.27 oz), a bit heavier than another phone in the A02 lineup - Galaxy A02s.
The series brought new features such as geometric design, newer and faster SoCs (compared to their predecessor), hole-punch display (on some devices) and increased RAM and storage options. The series comprises fourteen models. The Galaxy A01 Core was the second ultra-budget model within the Galaxy A series, the first being 2019's Galaxy A2 Core.
The phone itself measures 164 x 75.9 x 9.1 mm (6.46 x 2.99 x 0.36 inches) and weighs 196 grams (6.91 oz). The A02s is constructed with a plastic front and a glass back and frame. It is powered by the Qualcomm SDM450 Snapdragon 450 (14 nm) SoC with an octa-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and an Adreno 506 GPU .
Newly improved features include 16-megapixel front and back cameras, an Exynos 7 Octa 7880 SoC, a 3D glass display (similar to Galaxy S6 edge+, Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S7), barometer and gyroscope sensors and IP68 certification for water and dust resistance as well as support for Gear 360 (2017).
