Formerly known as Naval Air Station Imperial Beach, NOLF IB is a facility for helicopters, situated on 1,204 acres (5 km 2) approximately 14 miles (23 km) south of San Diego and within the city limits of Imperial Beach, California. It is referred to locally as "Ream Field." It is known as "The Helicopter Capital of the World".
The following is a list of commuter and regional airlines as well as their respective aircraft types that served Imperial County Airport (IPL) from 1969 through 1999 primarily with nonstop flights to Los Angeles (LAX) and one stop to Phoenix (PHX) by way of Yuma (YUM). All service to Phoenix was discontinued in 1989.

Formerly an independent naval air station, NOLF Imperial Beach is located in the city of Imperial Beach, on the U.S.-Mexico border, 10 miles (16 km) south of NAS North Island.
