I didn't want to call so here's what I did: -Force closed the app. - Cleared cache AND storage in the app (it was a new phone and never logged on so no foul or data lost) - Re opened the app. - logged in. - OAuth2 (which im guessing is a 2FA to your email address on file) worked and I was able to log in.
Is there any way to get past the "OAuth2 Exception" error? I know this has been a topic of conversation here, but I'm experiencing it now and can't seem to find a way to log into my account on the app. Service has been useless, only pointing to reset my password over and over. My best guess is to file a report with your local police & have them subpoena Venmo for that info. Just make sure you have 2factor on and change your password. At worst, you already know who it is. I just created my account and when trying to link my Venmo account it keeps failing saying “incorrect login credentials” except the login information is not wrong, it works on both the venmo website and on the iOS app. Anyone have luck getting a Venmo account to link?

I have blurred out all the information that can link to someone's account on this. My question is: if I click the venmo link on this person's Reddit page and it takes me to what appears to be a legit Venmo login screen even though I am already logged in through the app and on the internet, could it be a fake one.
