In the books, sometimes the names given have a meaning and sometimes they just sound good. Recently, some of the warrior names have been a little...controversial. ^^; But regardless, I know we all love warrior names and we all like to be creative with coming up with them! I myself like my names to have meanings and I'm sure some of you do to.

I've noticed in my time here on the forums that there are some names (or parts of names) that seem to be way overused, while there are other creative ones that I find really interesting. I've decided to make this guide, listing every prefix and suffix I've found on the forums and in the books. There are a total of 630 prefixes and 244 suffixes.

It's a shame how often they just choose suffixes like Pelt, Heart, Fur and Stripe when there's so many interesting names they could get from nature.

Warrior cat name suffixes. Just as I've made a prefix name list by looking through all Main Arc books, SE's, Novellas, Guides, and Shorts on the official site. I've complied a list of suffixes. So far this suffix list has 402 suffix names. So please give me all the ones you have so I can hopefully expand this list. 2 comments. Best. Add a Comment.

Post by VIXENCLAW onFeb 12, 2020 at 2:35pm. Bristle- has always been my favorite prefix, with -frost as my favorite suffix so I was beyond excited when I found out about Bristlefrost lol. Besides those, I really like Hickory-, Bark-, and Hound- as prefixes, and -burr as a suffix. Warrior Cats Forums.
