In windows 10 you need to do it old school right click the desktop and select display settings then choose orientation then select landscape should fix you right up.

Rotate 'Display with cursor' to Right (90° cw) Ctrl+Alt+Right (arrow key) Rotate 'Display with cursor' to Left (90° ccw) Ctrl+Alt+Left (arrow key) Rotate 'Display with cursor' to Standard Landscape (0°) Ctrl+Alt+Up (arrow key)
Do you know how it could have turned upside down? Do you have a pet that could have stepped on the keyboard or a co-worker who was bored during a lunch break? The right combination of keys can rotate the display sideways or upside-down on many models. Press Ctrl+Alt+Arrow key (in the direction you want it to turn) to see if yours does this.
The screen now displays upside down. I can fix it manually by using the Fn key and the F1 key which brings up some screen options, but I'd like to permanently fix this. Oddly enough my dog did this to my other laptop a few years back. I'm not sure what he's running across to do this. Any suggestions on how to fix this so the screen isn't upside ...
no sooner than the download finished, the screen started to go nuts, pop-ups all over...at one point there were 33 programs running....then suddenly the screen just turned completely upside down....i've shut down and restart, killed from the tower...nothing gets it rightside up again....now getting errors that there is a Parasite on my computer

I found the setting in the display properties to rotate the screen.... it had inadvertandly been set to be upside down. I flipped it and then set the default to not allow the screen to rotate again.

Options. @repairking there should be a setting on your TV that is called Picture Flip. See if you can access it with your Sharp remote (not a Universal remote) Press MENU. Scroll left or right to SETUP. Scroll up or down to PICTURE FLIP. Scroll up or down to STANDARD. Press ENTER. Press MENU.
Select Intel® Graphics Command Center in the list of programs. Select System. Select to Enable or Disable the Hotkeys function. Using the drop-down menu select if you want to use Ctrl + Alt, or Ctrl + Shift for the Screen Rotation Hotkey you want to use. Close the Graphics Command Center.
To make sure it does not happen again, follow these steps: Right click on your desktop, choose graphic properties... Look for Display Settings, and then look for a checked box that says Enable Rotation. Uncheck that box. By disabling rotation, you take away the chance of this mistakenly happening in the future.
