There’s a ton of different PS1 bios files in the Misc tab. Check the list of dumped PS1 bios files. Click on [Expand], and you'll see that ps-22a came from the SCPH-1001 PS1 model. Thank you but I’m reading that the required Bios files are scph5500.bin scph5501.bin scph5502.bin. This is for Duckstation on the Steam Deck, anyway.

Depends on the core, scph1001 is recognized by PCSX ReARMed and DuckStation, Beetle PSX is more strict however, it only recognizes a few BIOS files and 1001 isn't one of them (for US, only 5501, 5503 and 7003 ).
