The 2021 Nassau County, New York Executive election was held on November 2, 2021. The election was between incumbent county executive Laura Curran and former advisor to former county executive Bruce Blakeman. The elections were held on the same day as elections for county legislature. Blakeman defeated Curran by a close margin of 2,146 votes. [1]

A member of the Republican Party, she previously served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2008 to 2012 and as a member of the Nassau County School Board from 1998 to 2008.

[6] He won later that year in the general election with about the same percentage, against the same person. [7] He won every election since with at least 2/3 of the vote.
