With electronic programs Thoughtful Klondike can be played by allowing unlimited use of undos to return to the start if a choice turns out to be unfavorable. Because the only difference between the two games (regular and thoughtful) is the knowledge of card location, all winnable Thoughtful Klondike games will also be winnable in regular Klondike.
Thoughtful Klondike is not simply dealing all the cards face-up. It's exactly the same as normal Klondike, except that you know what each face-down card is before you turn it over. In your example, the alternating sequence from the initial deal cannot be moved as a unit in Thoughtful Klondike, because all but one of the cards are face down.
