The "pristine water" was actually water from a water main that had broken many years ago and Birmingham Water had just discovered it and sealed it. If you've never had cattails in your backyard, they are OK when there's water, but not so much when there's no water. They dry up and begin to smell.

BLUFFPARKAL.ORG was created in August 2006 following a robbery at the Piggly Wiggly in Bluff Park. Ben Shelton, a Bluff Park resident, who was inside the store during the robbery, distributed letters to Bluff Park residents the days after the robbery urging them to contact the Hoover City Council members.

"A note of update on my Eagle project. After we completed putting up St Alban's church signs several weeks ago, several signs were stolen and one torn down. I replaced several signs. And, now all signs are gone (except one). The church has filed a police report. We are very concerned. Why would someone steal church signs.
