I've had my current setup for about 18 months and had uninstalled the McAfee that came with it. If anything updated and brought the Mcafee back, I don't know what it could be. Plus, I just don't see how it could get installed without my permission and wake my PC and close and reopen 365 up in the process. Very disturbing.

I have Windows Defender Security Center that contains McAfee Virus Scan and Firewall on my pc. I also have McAfee Security Scan Plus which came packaged with my pc when I bought it. I was told by someone who was fixing my computer that I do not need to have McAfee Scan Plus in addition to Windows Defender.
