    Recommended Answer. Apr 11, 2023. Hi Corey, The timelapse imagery is low resolution photos from the Landsat satellites. You can still see the detailed historical imagery by zooming in close enough to access that layer. Personally, I thought replacing the individual, higher resolution images with the Landsat imagery was a bad idea too.
