   I have 6 kastking rover 50 round baitcasters. First I bought 1 kept it for a year and a half for catfish, stripers, trolling, and downrigging. Never had a single issue with it, so I got 5 more to replace some of the cheaper okumas trolling reels I was using. As for the other kastking bait caster models, I don't know.

   Spinning reels don’t cast nearly as far, they are less accurate, and getting one out of a rod holder when a toad is hooked up is very awkward because the reel is upside down in the rod holder. If you have a bunch of Abus then those are a much better catfish reel then any spinning reel on the market.

   Posts: 806. bought 2 of each to test this out. bb1 flips 10 ft further no problem. not even on the same level. super duty is a great reel and has better breaks if you're needing that for flipping but casting and flip distance both go to bb1. the quality / weight / size go to the super duty. its easier in the hand but i will be selling both ...
