hay I can't connect my Xbox account to my epic games account. I'm not sure if the Xbox account is already linked to a different epic games account or if it is an auto account. Cause I am just trying to get 2fa on Fortnite. Do you know how to change an auto account or find if I am already linked to a different epic games account.
I have 2 accounts with Epic and both were compromised, the hacker changes email and user names. Luckily on one of the accounts i had my Google account linked and was able to sign in this way. I was able to see the email address of the hacker and my display name was changed to Agent_Jeff. Email account was from Russia.
From Xbox it isn't possible to do it, the only accounts connected by consoles are Twitch, Discord and Mixer. You must delete the linked account directly from the Epic website. I went to where you said, and removed permissions from Epic Games. Then I re-linked the account and something odd happened. Xbox sent me an email that i successfully connected the app and it came under the Apps and Services tab, but on the Epic Games end, it didn't recognize the account and still prompted me to link the account.
Within my son's Epic Games account he currently has a connection to his Switch. When I try to link to his new box (which is his home xbox) I want it to connect to his xbox account, but instead it connects to my xbox account and at no point does it ask which box account to link to!
