    www.thehighroad.org/index.php?threads/ssssh-has-black-powder-dodged-a-bullet...

In this latest wave of anti-gun hysteria that has gripped the nation, how is it that the "black powder loophole" (as, I predict, Piers will eventually call it) has gone unnoticed? Even in the Evil Empire State, where I cannot go into Manhattan and buy a 22-ounce soda, I can still call Cabelas...

It is a little faster burning that Power Pistol though, and very similar to Unique (R), burn speed wise. As you mentioned, we have added flash suppressant to this product to moderate the flash response, whereas we do not for Power Pistol. BE-86 (TM) is a high energy propellant though, so do not expect it to be flashless.

Not to belabor the point, but here is a YouTube video I published to compare the amount of smoke generated by various black powder brands and substitutes. The cartridges were all .38 Special loaded with 1.0 CC/15 grains of powder. The percussion guns were charged with 15 grains also.

i realize that ammunition and such is getting expensive nowadays. however, i know i could shoot my muzzleloader for incredibly cheap. owning a flintlock .50 caliber i feel that i can hunt almost anything i want to aside from water foul. i can shoot rabbits with 10 grains, or go with a full load...

    www.thehighroad.org/index.php?threads/best-powder-s-for-7-62x39.797862

Toprudder, my Savage model 10 in 7.62x39 also has a .308 barrel and it shoots the .310 steel-cased stuff like a champ. Sub-MOA with steel-case .310 Hornady 123-grain SST's in fact. I figured I'd be loading .308 bullets for it until I shot some .310's. Then I quicky realized it wasn't broke, so I'm not gonna fix it.

What does the man who has homebrewed AK variants, homebrewed FALs and CETMEs, homebrewed a ppsh43 pistol (ATF paperwork for a SBR was too much of PITA for me personally), a large collection of handguns (mostly Tokarevs, S&W model 19s, and snub nose .357 magnums), a collection of Mosin Nagants...
