This is spot on. I've hosted about 3 garage sales now, and beforehand I was an avid garage sale shopper so I learned a lot about what makes a good sign. I get about 4-5 neon yellow colored poster boards and cut them in half. The only information that goes on the signs is "Garage sale [street name + number]" and a directional arrow.
