MuskieFIRST.com - The #1 source in all of muskie fishing. LOL, yeah predicting early or late spring at this stage is a fool's errand but it is always interesting to note those things that are uncommon, like the swans and robins so early.
….if you help out with the vet outing, hit me up if you want to talk Muskie on Pewaukee. Guided Pewaukee close to 30 years part time. I build custom Spinnerbait's and Pewaukee is a good lake for them because of all the floating weeds. Topwaters work, but very difficult to fish because of all the floating weeds. A lot of wasted casts.
Last day fished muskie about 2 hrs in Miles bay throwing bucktails. Caught a 50 (personal best) and a 44. Whish we would have thrown more for them. Also why is it I have caught Muskies 37" to 50" but have never caught one in the 20"s or smaller? Caught hundreds and hundreds of pike in the 20s.....
Posts: 1392 Location: Brighton CO. This is a very famous water with lots of resorts and fishermen. This is a beautiful body of water and a little larger then most and a good fishing lake. St. Germain Marine in St. Germain is a good place to get info or a Hot Spot map or they sell hand drawn maps too.

MuskieFIRST.com - The #1 source in all of muskie fishing. Posts: 415 Location: MN: I used to run convector 30s, had a great experience, no problems really they were just getting worn after 5+ years and a bit big to fit in multiples in the rod locker.
Had a great time the past two weeks. Shoal was a fantastic trip, didn't see any muskie but caught several pike and a few smallies. To see the fish coming from the depths in that clear water was amazing. We didn't go a 1/5 of the way onto Shoal but from the sign that reads Walleye season closed, we never saw one boat.

sean - 9/18/2009 10:51 AM I use Alden Knight's as well. The only rub is, there are 2 minors and 2 majors each day (granted, some of them take place in the middle of the night), and each minor/major is supposed to be the sweet spot from the beginning of the period until 2 hours after.
