30 Days of Night was released in 2,855 cinemas in the United States and Canada on October 19, 2007. In its opening weekend, the film grossed $16 million, [ 2 ] placing first in the box office. [ 25 ] The film grossed $39.7 million in the United States and Canada and $35.7 million overseas for a total of $75.3 million worldwide.
