Mesa Public Schools (incorporated as Mesa Unified School District #4) is the largest public school district in the state of Arizona, headquartered in Mesa. It has approximately 64,000 students. The district has, in addition to regular programs: Montessori, International Baccalaureate, dual-language immersion, honors and Advanced Placement courses.

Mountain View High School is a high school in Mesa, Arizona. It was established in 1976, the third public high school in Mesa. It is known for its numerous athletic and academic accomplishments. The school's mascot is a Toro. Known as the Campus of Champions. [2] The Toro Spiritline has won many state and national titles.

The Colorado Mesa Mavericks (formerly Mesa State Mavericks) are the athletic teams that represent Colorado Mesa University, located in Grand Junction, Colorado, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports. The Mavericks compete as members of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference for all 28 varsity sports.
The Mesa Solar Sox are a baseball team that plays in the East Division of the Arizona Fall League. They play their home games in Mesa, Arizona, at Sloan Park, which is also the spring training facility of the Chicago Cubs. [4] The team was established in 1992 as the Sun Cities Solar Sox, and played for seven seasons under that name.
