Among the recorded prey items are European and mountain hares, rabbits, red squirrels, Siberian flying squirrels, dormice, mice, mustelids (such as martens), grouse, red foxes, raccoon dogs, wild boar, roe deer, moose, red deer and other medium-sized ungulates.
