Our Lady of Guadalupe – The first Catholic Church building in Queen Creek is located on the north side of Ocotillo, 3/8 mile west of Ellsworth Road. Queen Creek Historic Town Hall - was built in 1952 as a meeting house for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which stopped using it in 1988. The Town of Queen Creek bought it in 1991.

Continuing as a four-lane highway east of the I-10 for two miles, Queen Creek Road expands to six-lanes upon crossing the city Chandler shortly west of Price Road and intersects with SR 87 (Arizona Avenue). Shortly, after crossing Gilbert, the highway reduces to a four-lane road and continues to Queen Creek where it ends a stretch at Hawes Road.

The 1945 dining hall is a one-story U-shaped log building. It features a large stone fireplace and chimney on the north side. The former dining room is now a library and lounge, while the original commercial kitchen is a communal kitchen and dining area. The exterior is stained a uniform brown.
