The Lakshmi Devi temple is an early 12th-century Hindu temples complex located in Doddagaddavalli village in Hassan District, Karnataka India.The main temple consists of four-shrines that share a common mandapa (hall), each sanctum being a square and aligned to a cardinal direction.
Lakshmi Devi temple, Doddagaddavalli. The most prominent feature of Kadamba architecture was Shikara called Kadamba Shikara. The tower rises in steps without any decoration (pyramid shaped shikara) with pinnacle (Stupika or Kalasha) on top.

The Lakshmidevi temple at Doddagaddavalli is unique to Hoysala architecture as it has four shrines around a common centre and a fifth shrine within the same complex for the deity Bhairava (a form of Shiva). [27] In addition, four minor shrines exist at each corner of the courtyard . [28]
