Michael Rasmussen (born June 18, 1950) [1] is an American former college football coach. He was the head football coach for Saint Mary's College of California from 1990 to 1999 and Monterey Peninsula College from 2001 to 2019.
In 2010, Fales returned home to Monterey County and transferred to Monterey Peninsula College. According to Fales, he "had a previous relationship with the head coach (Mike Rasmussen)" at the college. [11] Fales was a two-time all-conference selection and completed 61.8 percent of passes for 4,635 yards and 37 touchdowns. [2]

Monterey Peninsula College (MPC) is a public community college in Monterey, California. Established in 1947, it is a part of the California Community Colleges system . There are two additional MPC campuses located in Marina, CA , and Seaside, CA .
Edwards played college football at the University of California, Berkeley in 1972 and 1974, at junior college Monterey Peninsula College in 1973, and at San Diego State University (SDSU) in his senior year, 1975. He graduated from SDSU with a degree in criminal justice. He helped promote Monterey County Special Olympics for several years.

Ron Weaver was a college football player for the University of Texas. Weaver, who played under the alias Joel Ron McKelvey, played under his own name when he enrolled at Monterey Peninsula College in the fall of 1984. He played at Sacramento State in 1988 as a wide receiver.
