First registered as an independent AVA in 2006, the Eola-Amity Hills AVAs include several notable vineyards that have been provided grapes to wineries in other Oregon AVAs for years. The Chehalem Mountains AVA corresponds to the Chehalem Mountains and is entirely contained within the Willamette Valley AVA.The region stretches 20 miles (32 km) from Northwest of Wilsonville in the southeast to Forest Grove in the northwest featuring the elevations of Ribbon Ridge, Parrett Mountain and Bald Peak.
