NLSchools (formally known as Newfoundland & Labrador English School District as of 2024) is the school board overseeing all English-language primary and secondary education in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. In June 2018, NLESD held jurisdiction over 256 schools serving more than 65,000 students across the province.
Students and teachers return to school Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2024. For spring break, students will have Friday, March 29, 2024 off through the following week. They will return Monday, April 8, 2024.

Stephenville High School (commonly abbreviated SHS) is one of two high schools serving northern Bay St. George and Port au Port, in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.More specifically, the school serves grade 9-12 students from Stephenville, Stephenville Crossing, Noel's Pond, Cold Brook, Kippens, Romaines, Port-au-Port East, Port-au-Port West, Point au Mal and Fox Island River.
The district had 66 schools located in 50 different communities, and served about 13,000 students, including a significant rural population. [1] The District was formed by the merger of the Lewisporte-Gander and Baie Verte-Central-Connaigre school boards in 2004. [2] The largest school in the district was Gander Academy.
