Quercus pagoda, the cherrybark oak, is one of the most highly valued red oaks in the southern United States. It is larger and better formed than southern red oak and commonly grows on more moist sites. Its strong wood and straight form make it an excellent timber tree.
Florida rosemary can grow to 1.8 metres (6 ft) tall. The growth form is a rounded shrub with dense branching. Dark green leaves are needle-like, eight to twelve mm long and one mm wide, and smell like the herb rosemary.
Forms range from upright to trailing; [5] the upright forms can reach between 1.2–1.8 metres (4–6 ft) tall. [6] The leaves are evergreen, 2–4 cm ( 3 ⁄ 4 – 1 + 1 ⁄ 2 in) long and 2–5 mm ( 1 ⁄ 16 – 3 ⁄ 16 in) broad, green above, and white below, with dense, short, woolly hair.
