Monique Angela Hicks (née Imes; born December 11, 1967), known mononymously as Mo'Nique, is an American comedian and actress. [1] [2] She debuted as a member of The Queens of Comedy and earned recognition as a stand-up comedian. In 2002, she received a nomination for the Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album.
Tour specials filmed at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Paradise, Nevada in 1999. It featured tracks from her many of studio albums, such as Gypsys, Tramps & Thieves and Believe album, alongside various covers. The video was certified Platinum in the UK and Brazil, and 2× Platinum in Australia.
