Norbulingka Road is a road running from southwest to northeast. It leads to the gate on the east side of Norbulingka in the west, and connects with Minzu Middle Road and Minzu South Road. [1] It connects with Beijing Middle Road in the east. The middle part of the road connects with Lingkhor West Road.
The village of Zhol is located below the southern face of the Potala Palace. Rectangular in plan, it is surrounded by a wall on three sides, the fourth being occupied by the base of the hill where the palace stands. In the middle of each of the three sides, there is an entrance building: the main entrance, eastern entrance and western entrance.
