The Ruger PC Carbine 9mm comes with accommodation for two different types of magazines; the Ruger standard (SR-Series ) comes pre-installed, plus it ships with an adaptor for Glock magazines. I don't have any other 9mm firearms so cross-compatibility isn't my issue.

I have both and the Security 9 magazines fit the PCC bit the SR9 mags that came with the PCC don't work in the Security 9 without a tweak. You need to add the notch on the left side of the Security 9 mags to work in the PCC. ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ!

The PC9 can accept P Series magazines (P89-P95 that is) which are 15 rounders, but you can find 33rnd magazines to run through a PC9, but they run about $45 a pop. The current production models can only use American or Glock mags, with an SR series adapter available. The old P-Series horses are far too long discontinued for Ruger to have kept that backward compatibility in the new PC Carbines. New PCC only uses the SR and Glock ... Old model PC9 uses the P series mags ... rmichael63.
A Beretta 92 magazine will work in a Sig p226 just by using a Dremel to cut a new mag catch slot. So if a p226 mag will work in a PC Carbine, the Beretta mag should work as well. And, mil surplus mags can be found everywhere for $10-$15, I just gave away a half dozen myself to a fellow shooter that just got a Beretta 92. Phu Bai, Vietnam 68-69.
149 posts · Joined 2018. #2 · Aug 21, 2018 (Edited) SR9 magazines fit it. I bought some SR9c 17 round mags off of ebay a few months ago and they fit my PC9 perfectly. I just got mine last Wednesday. Take that back, I got them from Buds when I bought my SR9c. They have went up a little bit since then.

I Googled "Fraurem RU9M17" and found this: Fraurem, LLC – RU9M17 Adapter for P320 Magazines in Ruger PCC. Their description makes it sound somewhat fragile...

The 17-round Ruger magazines are really high quality. I believe they're made by Mec-Gar. I missed my 31-round ETS magazine. So, I use a ProMag SR9 32-round magazine. (It will actually hold 36 rounds, but I just load 30 -- the legal max for PCC in IDPA.) The ProMag does approach the quality of the Ruger magazines or the ETS, but it's working.
