I also always liked the XP embedded theme, Panther (which looks like MacOS), ShikiWay, TangoXP2, and some others. Have to see if I can find my sources from back then. In general I went with themes that made the taskbar slimmer so I could have 3 columns of icons with a 2 column high taskbar.
Oh, I forgot about WindowBlinds. Their Windows 7 theme looks kinda off though, and I don't think it works with the Aero Glass program. I wish we had more insight as to how WindowBlinds actually works, because it's the only thing that can actually modify Windows 10's ugly windows in any way.
not really, the compiled msstyles alone have also been uploaded in one of the xp leak threads before. still nice. iirc there are files related to some kind of a theme signing tool in the leak that one can use to sign themes so you don't have to use an uxtheme.dll patcher.
Hell no, I'll stick with real XP and let my windows 10 look like itself lol Or maybe there are easier, free XP themes for 10 somewhere out there, even if they aren't as accurate or comprehensive as this one.

I never liked the XP themes. They had a blue theme, silver, and Olive. They were all ugly IMO. On every XP computer I had I switched to the windows classic theme. It looked much cleaner. My first Vista laptop was so bad that I wiped the drive and installed XP on it. I ran XP all the way till 7 came out. Then I ran 7 until 10 came out.
Excluding the media center and Windows classic themes, and any "aftermarket" themes. I personally prefer the original blue color because that is what almost everyone used. I also like the silver, it looks sleek and classy and I used that for years before reverting back to the default blue. Does anyone actually like the olive green?
