Naperville Community Unit School District 203 serves central and northern Naperville as well as portions of the neighboring Lisle and Bolingbrook. [1] The oldest District 203 building still in use is Ellsworth Elementary, constructed in 1928, [2] while the newest is the Ann Reid Early Childhood Center, opened in 2010.

The majority of high school students living in Lisle attend Lisle Senior High School. Lisle Community High School first opened in 1957, at the location of the current junior high. It remained there until 1974, after the elementary and high school districts merged to form Lisle Community Unit School District 202. A new building was erected for the incoming class of 1975. In 2001, the high school received a makeover.
