TEDA Global Academy (formerly TEDA International School) (simplified Chinese: 泰达国际学校; traditional Chinese: 泰達國際學校) is an English language day school located in Tianjin Economic Development Area of China. [1] [2] The school was established by the TEDA Government in 1995, and is open to any foreigners residing in TEDA.

On 1 February 2009 it was registered under the name "Reith Legislation British International School", [1] but the name was changed to the current one on 13 October 2009. [4] The school opened in 2011. [5] Initially it planned to offer, the initial expected student account was 500, and the school planned to have up to 1,200 students.

Tianjin No. 20 High School is among the first batch of "municipal key schools". [2] It was established in 1952 after the merger of Tianjin Private Zhejiang High School (Chinese: 天津私立浙江中学), a secondary school established in 1910, and Jinhua Girls' High School (Chinese: 津华女子中学), a secondary school established in 1939. There are approximately 85 teachers at the school including 30 full-time expatriate teachers and 55 full-time bilingual teachers of Chinese nationality, 14 of whom hold degrees from universities outside of China. Thirty-six of the teachers hold master's and doctoral degrees. The student-to-teacher ratio is usually around 8:1. [11]
