They're a cheap, reliable and comparatitvely powerful coil to the stock DSM coils, however these can eliminate the factory ignition control module, factory coil packs, and the spark plug wires all in one. If you're looking for an ignition improvement over the factory DSM coil packs, chances are these are not going to improve over good OEM coils.

hey as far as I know you don't have to take the fuel rail off, I replaced the ignition coil pack on my car an I didn't have to remove the fuel rail, the only thing that I have to move a lil bit was the injector wires, the ones that go on top of the intake manni' I think it's three lil screws(for the injector wire harness) and then remove the ...

ignition coil pack i got on the freeway onramp and it was at 4k rpm and stopped now it wont start so i did some research and its you ignition coil pack. Upvote 0 Jun 21, 2010
The factory ECU actually uses sequential for the fuel injectors but opted for wasted spark for ignition I would assume as a cost saving measure to use a traditional 2 channel coil pack as these cars were produced before COP setups were the norm.
