The Fenians are a Celtic rock band from Orange County, California. They take their name from a pair of organizations known as the Fenians dedicated to the establishment of an independent Irish Republic in the 19th and early 20th centuries, as well as the Fianna of Irish mythology .

Night of a Thousand Candles is the first studio album by the band The Men They Couldn't Hang. It was released in 1985 on vinyl and cassette format, and then on CD format in 1987. The cassette version has two additional tracks, and the CD version has six bonus tracks added.
The album's title was a tribute to the titles of compilation albums that were released during the 1960s. [3] The term "Tomorrow's Hits" had also previously appeared in the liner notes for New Moon. The neon sign on the album's cover was designed by Rich Samis and Kevin Faulkner. [4]
McGuigan released his only solo album with Dolphin Records (DOLM 5012) in 1975, My Country, My Songs and Me. [5] Along with Dermot O'Brien, he also produced the album, The Price Of Justice, [6] featuring Kathleen Largey of the Flying Column Music Group. McGuigan died on 17 March 2014 following a short illness.
