Del Valle High School is a public high school located in the Del Valle community in unincorporated Travis County, Texas, United States and is part of the Del Valle Independent School District. The high school serves the communities of Austin , Creedmoor , Garfield , Mustang Ridge , Pilot Knob , Elroy , Webberville , and Hornsby Bend.
In April 1963 the school district changed its name to the Del Valle Independent #910. In September 1966 the district annexed the Creedmoor Common School District #41. In 1967 the Hornsby-Dunlap Common School District was annexed. [3] Smith Elementary School and a new middle school opened on the site of the Del Valle High School campus in 1972.

Del Valle had its own school in the mid-1880s. In 1907 the area common school district had two schools, one for nine White students and another for 108 Black students. Throughout much of its history, Del Valle was served by the Colorado Common School District Number 36 and the Hornsby-Dunlap Common School District.
