Catalina dmg file link. Hello! I trying to create catalina usb installer, but can't download catalina file from App Store, because my MacBook Pro (2011) doesn't support it. Is there any link for Catalina dmg file? All links just transfer me to App Store page and it saying "you can't install it on this machine etc." I don't want to.

This might sound like a silly question, and I apologize for the same. However, my mac is not working at all, and I wanted to create a bootable USB using the DMG file for macOS Catalina. But I only have access to a Windows 10 PC. How can I download the macOS Catalina DMG on Windows 10 PC so that I can prepare a bootable USB using BalenaEtcher?
Yes, but if you need the Catalina 10.15, I have the installer with me. On installing it you can upgrade to any version of Catalina like 10.15 to 10.15.1,2,3,4... because I do not prefer 10.15.7 since my MacBook Pro got slow down in this version. so I preferred to have until 10.15.4, where the performance of my Mac was a bit bitter.
Use the 'createinstallmedia' command in Terminal. Connect the USB flash drive or other volume that you're using for the bootable installer. Make sure that it has at least 12GB of available storage and is formatted as Mac OS Extended. Open Terminal, which is in the Utilities folder of your Applications folder.

okay when i try to launch imovie, it says "The version of iMovie installed on this Mac is not compatible with macOS Catalina. Download the latest version from the App Store." it takes me to app store, no updates on imovie are pending...i trashed imovie as u directed and tried to redownload - that options does not exist.

Another option is to boot into Internet Recovery Mode using Command + Option + R which will boot to the most recent version of macOS online installer compatible with your Mac. In theory anyway since sometimes it may only boot to the online installer for the OS which originally shipped with the Mac from the factory. (1)
