In the search box located at the top right corner of the window, type Chicago White Sox and click on Enter key on the keyboard. Same on the MSN website – if I add anything via the browser to my MSN Money watchlist or favourite teams on msn sports, they appear on the website but do not sync across to any apps. Same story on the MSN apps on iOS – If I make any changes they remain local but don’t sync across devices.
What worked for me is to click on the Settings (gear symbol) at top right of page and to choose the Informational format. Soon thereafter the choices I'd made were respected. Let me know if this helps. If not I will give you all steps to fix Edge so at least something will work.

Clicking on the "bad certificate", I see it is trying to use the SSL cert for my domain (*.syllogisteks.com) as the certificate for microsoft.com (and I am assuming ntp.msn.com and all others too). I have check my time and the time is accurate on the server. Since this is a VM on a hyper V host I also verified the time on it.
