The William S. Hart Union High School District (commonly referred to simply as the Hart District) is a school district in the Santa Clarita Valley of Los Angeles County, California. It serves all of the valley's high school students (grades 9–12) and most of its junior high school students (grades 7–8).

Golden Valley High School is a school in the William S. Hart Union High School District in the Canyon Country [4] [5] neighborhood of Santa Clarita, California, United States. The school first opened in 2004 with a new campus, admitting freshmen and sophomores; the first class graduated in 2007.
The first Hart District school board was composed of school board members from each of the elementary districts. Tom Frew III and S.S. Donaldson represented the Newhall district.
