Charles Robert George Innes-Ker, 11th Duke of Roxburghe (born 18 February 1981), also known as Charles Innes or Charlie Roxburghe and styled as the Marquess of Bowmont and Cessford until 2019, is a British aristocrat and military officer.
William was born in 1728 and was baptised on 20 October 1728 at Ashton under Hill, Gloucestershire, England.He was the eldest son and heir of Lt. Col. Hon. William Bellenden (1702–1758) and Jacomina (née Farmer) Bellenden, of Normington in Lincolnshire, [1] who married in 1726. [2]

As Bellenden was unmarried and childless, on 14 April 1671, he resigned his peerage in favour of his first cousin twice times removed, Hon. John Ker (later John Bellenden, 2nd Lord Bellenden), the youngest son of William Ker, 2nd Earl of Roxburghe, [1] and his heirs of entail, which was confirmed by Royal charter on 12 December 1673. [4]
