Chrysler Detroit Axle Plant (AKA Eldon Axle) was a Chrysler automobile factory in Detroit, Michigan.The factory opened in 1917 and was purchased by Chrysler in 1928. It was expanded in 1956, 1964, 1966, 1969, 1998, 2000, and 2001.

In 1956, Rockwell Manufacturing Co. bought Walker-Turner from Kearney and Trecker. In 1957, Walker-Turner operations were closed down in Plainfield, New Jersey and moved to Bellefontaine, Ohio and Tupelo, Mississippi. The site is near (south) of another GM facility at the time, called Chevrolet Gear & Axle Division, which itself was the combination of two former factories, called Detroit Gear and Axle and Detroit Forge, which had occupied the location at Holbrook Avenue to the south, Lumpkin Street to the east, Poland Avenue to the north and I-75 to the west.
