The Big Creek Greenway is a multi-use trail with two completed sections along Big Creek (formerly known as Vickery Creek) in the state of Georgia, United States.The first section begins at Big Creek Park in Roswell, GA and currently runs 8 miles (13 km) to Marconi Drive in Alpharetta. [1]
The Western Gwinnett Bikeway (also West Gwinnett Bikeway) is a multi-use trail under construction along Peachtree Industrial Boulevard in Gwinnett County.The trail will be 10 feet (3.0 m) to 14 feet (4.3 m) wide and traverse the cities of Norcross, Peachtree Corners, Berkeley Lake, Duluth, Suwanee, Sugar Hill and Buford.
Currently, there is a 1.87-mile-long (3.01 km) walking and biking trail [6] connecting Old US 431 to the Big Cove Creek Greenway in the Hays Nature Preserve where parking is available. The city of Huntsville plans to extend the greenway south along the Flint River to eventually connect to the Tennessee River greenway.
A section of the Crabtree Creek greenway trail near Umstead State Park opened late this summer. But a segment that would connect the trail to the rest of city’s greenway system is still unfinished.
